The conference offers several publication opportunities for participants.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts with ISBN, available electronically through the conference website.

Authors will be invited to submit full papers after the conference. All accepted full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. The organizers will seek indexing of the proceedings in relevant international academic databases.

In addition, selected high-quality papers presented at the conference will be invited for submission to a special issue of the international peer-reviewed journal TOURISM: An International Interdisciplinary Journal (WoS-ESCI; https://www.iztzg.hr/en/journal-tourism/aims-and-scope/), subject to the journal’s standard double-blind peer-review process.

The organizers are currently exploring additional publication opportunities with internationally recognized journals in the fields of tourism, sustainability, geography, planning and public policy.

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

All submitted abstracts and full papers will undergo a review process coordinated by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of the reviewers’ decisions and comments according to the conference timeline. Where revisions are required, authors will be given sufficient time to address reviewers’ comments before final acceptance. All submissions must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Selected papers invited for journal publication will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.

At least one author of each accepted contribution must register for the conference and pay the registration fee in order for the paper to be included in the final conference program and publication outputs.
